Example Cost Structure

Below are some example costs on both types of training. We offer one-to-one or shared tuition.

Please note the prices are net and subject to VAT.

Test fees are £85.00 for a test conducted Monday to Friday; the test fee for tests conducted on Saturday will be £103.00.
All test fees are exempt from VAT.

The length of your training course will be determined by a driving assessment costing £35+VAT, this way we know exactly how much training you require and we can then tailor the course to suit your needs.

How to I fund my training?

Are you eligible for a grant? You may be able to receive an allowance while you take your LGV training. Take a look at the Jobcenter Plus web site here.

What if I have to cancel?

If you have to cancel AND give us the required notice, this is not a problem and there will be nothing to pay, but please see our Terms & Conditions which are available on request.

If it is a last minute illness or accident, providing you can supply a copy of a Doctors certificate, there would be also be no charge for cancellation. If, however, the candidate simply failed to appear at the start of training without contacting us or notifying us in writing, the full training cost would be still be payable. 

There is nothing worse for any training establishment than to have a candidate booked to start and just not turn up. Our training vehicle is booked for the course, the instructor's wages would still have to be paid, it is then too late to arrange a substitute candidate and the DSA test fee would also be lost ! ( The DSA require 10 CLEAR working days notice to cancel a driving test, not including weekends, otherwise the test fee is forfeited )
