It's not difficult to become a LGV / HGV lorry driver. Just follow our list of actions below.
- Contact us by email or phone and let us know your requirements for training.

- Once you have looked at the pack, arrange for a LGV Medical Examination. The charge for this examination will be between £60 and £90. Take your Medical Report Form (D4) with you.
- Apply to the DVLA for a LGV Provisional Licence. You will need to send your forms D2, D4 and car licence with the application.
- On receipt of your provisional licence from the DVLA, contact us to arrange an assessment drive.
- Begin your study for the LGV Theory Test. You will need a copy of "Theory Test for Drivers of Large Vehicles" which is available from most bookshops and on-line at Amazon, WH Smith etc. Currently available at £10.99 to £14.99. THe DSA has mock theory tests available.

- Once you have passed your Theory Test, contact us to arrange a date for your practical lorry driving course.
- When you pass the LGV Rigid Driving Test (Category C)
- When you receive your Full Category C LGV Licence you may wish to start lessons to up-grade to Category C+E - Articulated Vehicles.
